Pre-Veterinary Medical Association
Our Mission
Here at Florida Atlantic University, the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association is communally driven by one single goal - becoming a veterinary practitioner. Monthly meetings provide members information about guest speakers, volunteer and outreach opportunities, social events, and wet labs. The association strives to build relationships and positively impact our prospective veterinarians that will ultimately become active members of society.

Get Involved
Enhance Your Experiences

Wet Labs
Our organization always appreciates the generosity and involvement of our members, with every contribution going towards making the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association an even better organization than it already is. We like to supplement various wet labs that strengthen member engagement and nurtures their passion for veterinary medicine.

Events
We hold multiple events each year, with an annual trip to the APVMA Symposium. Events expose members to the realm of Pre-Veterinary medicine and help mend relationships that transcend throughout our pre-professional careers.

Volunteer & Outreach
This is one of the simplest and effective 3-part systems. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is to take part in a progressive community. Not only does this enhance you as an individual, but other organizations, people, and animals alike. This is an easy and efficient way of contributing to the work we do within the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. Talk to our officers for any questions you may have about volunteering opportunities.

Networking
Having trouble knowing where to start? One of the perks we have as an organization is the ability to integrate connections with veterinarians, advisors, and more. This optimizes your time as a student where resources can be allocated elsewhere. Ask us about shadowing opportunities, research involvement, and any other general questions you have about entering the field of veterinary medicine.
